The setting is good and perfect, it's so close to the beach as well as the garden. The staff is lovely friendly and gentle, makes sure that the place is clean. The breakfast with a lovely view is tasty for what is offered.

Tbh, had a really really nice stay for 1 night. The location of the hotel was particularly good and absolutely perfect, to the food court in the near by shopping mall. And it was also close to airport & car, airport station and train station and downtown. Amazing friendly and extremely friendly staff, I loved them all.

had standard double room with a very comfortable bed and wake-up service was available in it.

Despite the lovely pool area, I was disappointed with the tiny room size that felt cramped for my family. The dining experience was also subpar, with limited breakfast options that could use improvement.

Good location for my business, free parking, and proximity with Atrium Algarve mall
The hotel is old. I had trouble with telephone and hot water, and some staff were not as polite as I would expect from this hotel

I enjoyed the tranquility of the hotel and the clean environment. The buffet breakfast is varied and served from 6:30 am.
The location of the hotel is bad, since it is quite far away from the downtown. Considering the amount one has to spend on taxi, it is actually more expensive than a hotel at Faro downtown .

What I liked about this hotel was that it was reasonably priced and close to the airport. Also within walking distance to town centre.
I didn't think the staff were very friendly, which I found strange because in Portugal in general people were very friendly.

The pool area was lovely. It provided a great atmosphere for relaxing.
The bath was very slippery which made getting in and out of the shower 'interesting'.

Breakfast was great, loads of coffee but did get weaker as the days progressed... Pool always open, that's brilliant!
Limit really low on credit card, was over limit by day 2 and that was just the room and breakfast.... Increase the limit please or tell us at the time of check-in!!!!

I stayed at the hotel because there was a day between my holiday venue and flight back home. While the hotel is perfectly located for the airport, I didn't find it in a suitable place to go sight seeing in faro town. It was very noisy from the traffic on the main roads close by. The hotel itself was clean and well set out re/ bar, restaurant and patio/pool area. However the room itslef was not that pleasant primarily due to the smell of smoke and nicotine. I am a smoker but do not smoke indoors. As I was only there for one day I did not want to ask for any changes. I spent best part of the day by the poolside which was very pleasant.
As I have mentioned above, the thing I disliked was the smell of stale smoke and nicotine in the bedroom. When I booked I was not asked if I would like smoking or non-smoking!! Also I would have appreciated having the possibility to make my own tea and coffee in the room. Most other b & b places do so I was suprised that the Ibis doesn't!

For the very reasonable price, it was more than satisfactory. It has a lovely pool area with plenty of sun loungers round the pool & tables/chairs on the patio. The staff were all very good. You can order food & drinks 24/7.
The choice of food was very limited, but was nice. The only real complaint though, was that the beds were rock hard, making it too uncomfortable for my wife & myself.

Perfect for groups who want comfort
The pool was fantastic, we spent hours relaxing there every day. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, fresh orange juice we made ourselves-it was like handling chemistry in the lab, only tastier.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what you get, it was still reasonable.
